Monday Man Cave 3
Its everyone’s favorite day of the week, Monday, which means it’s also the latest installment of Monday Man Cave. This week we are going to be looking at another vintage Man Cave, one owned by none other than Theodore Roosevelt.
If you haven’t heard of Teddy Roosevelt before, he was the 26th president of the USA and through his interests and achievements, he was highly regarded for his cowboy persona and robust masculinity. He was an avid hunter which is shown in his Man Cave decor, and was part of an African hunting expedition in 1909 where they killed 11,400 animals ranging from moles to rare white rhinos.
Back in those days entertainment consisted of books, retelling of hunting stories and consumption of fine spirits and wine. His trophies from the aformentioned African hunting trip adorn the walls and floors of the high ceiling room, complimented by the dark Philippine camagon wood work.
They sure don’t make them like this anymore! Think you’ve got a Man Cave to rival the great Teddy Roosevelt? Get in touch via the contact form.
